Junior Counselors (JCs) serve as the bridge between the delegates and the adults in the Village. JCs participate in leaders’ meetings and activities. Being a JC requires maturity, responsibility, commitment, and hard work.
Step Up to Denmark
Our delegation to the “Parachute Camp” Step Up in Denmark. This Step Up’s pre-camp explains its theme:
A mind is like a parachute. It doesn’t work unless it’s open. To us, parachutes symbolize being embracing, supporting, open, and a chance for great overviews. This theme allows us to embrace a variety of topics and we are excited to see how this inspires your cultural activities.

Step Up to Ecuador
Our delegation to the “Jaguar You” Step Up in Ecuador. This Step Up’s pre-camp explains its theme:
First of all, some facts, the jaguar is a majestic creature that can be found in the
eastern region of Ecuador. It is known that the jaguar is the biggest cat that can be
found in the Americas region. Some ancient tribes consider it a magical creature
always surrounded by mystery and respect.
We bonded this animal with the expression How are You? We think it’s important
that after such big global events, you have some time to stop and that someone
asks you how you are really doing. We want to make this camp a safe and fun
space for everyone; this can only be achieved through communication and
empathy.

Youth Meeting to Italy
Our delegation to the “Imagine Peace” Youth Meeting in Italy. This Youth Meeting’s pre-camp explains its theme:
Due to the present urgent circumstances and the overall situation of global
and local conflicts, we believe that the topic of Peace is more relevant now
than ever.
The theme of our camp will be Imagine Peace: practices, behaviors, and
attitudes toward a resilient and strong creation of peaceful coexistence.
We have tried to portray the topic as a living tree, which can only grow with
the right nourishment and cure and needs attention and engagement to avoid
damage. That is what building peace means for us.
