Discover the heart of CISV with our dynamic Junior Branch!
At CISV, it’s not just about the travel – our Junior Branch (JB) is the beating heart and soul of our community. Geared towards local CISVers aged 10-25, our Junior Branch offers year-round activities. From monthly meetings to group activities and community service projects, we’re more than just a travel club.
Embrace the opportunity to develop intercultural and leadership skills through educational and social activities. Juniors actively manage their own events, taking charge of administrative responsibilities within their chapters. Operating on national and international levels, Juniors organize programs covering diverse themes like social justice and the environment.
Join us in building a community, honing your leadership skills, and championing peace through education. CISV Jacksonville’s Junior Branch invites you to:
- Engage in monthly service or social activities.
- Attend our three annual minicamps, commonly held during President’s Day, Memorial Day, and another fall weekend. Learn more and register for our February minicamp here. See the photo album from our most recent minicamp here.
- Volunteer for a monthly JB planning group.
- Consider joining the local CISV Jacksonville Junior Branch Board. Apply for the 2024-2025 school year Junior Branch Board here.
Stay in the loop by texting “@cisvjbjax” to 81010 and following our events on the website or Instagram. Interested in leadership? Apply to join the local Junior Branch board during our late March elections at the Chapter’s Spring General Meeting.
