President’s Message

Dear CISV Families and Friends:
2021 is coming to a close with renewed optimism for continued international programming and local community outreach. During our Planning Retreat last month, we decided to focus on three important long-term goals:
  • Build community: CISVJax will host more events that help us connect to the mission of CISV and each other. We’ll attend to the business of running a chapter while also having fun, building friendships and learning about cultures around the globe without leaving Northeast Florida.
  • Improve Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility: We want CISV to be accessible to all families who value the concept of active global citizenry. To this end, we will work hard to attract, engage and retain a membership which accurately reflects the geographic communities we represent.
  • Coordinate post-pandemic volunteerism: The business of running a CISV chapter is intense and requires much people-power. However, due to the pandemic, we’ve lost two years of incoming families along with the energy and ideas they bring. As a result, we need your time, creativity and leadership more than ever. Please express your interests in helping here.
We wish your families peace and happiness for the year to come, and we hope to see you at one of our social or educational events soon.

Junior Branch Activities

All CISV youth are invited to participate!

MLK Day March

Join the Junior Branch in marching in the 2022 Martin Luther King Day parade on Monday, January 17. All participants will meet at 9 am. Please wear CISV gear and warm clothes!
