Parent Orientation 2026

This event is limited to parents of children that have been selected to represent the USA at CISV international programs in 2026.

At this meeting your delegation will:

• Meet fellow delegation parents and mentor
• Discuss and fill out legal, health, travel information and individual information forms on My CISV (as much as possible)
• Decide on a parent to buy airline tickets as stated in the travel coordinator job description
• Divvy up delegation parent jobs
• Discuss procedure for emergency money
• Exchange contact information and set calendar for future meetings

WHAT TO BRING

• Your child’s passport or a copy of the information page from the passport
• Your family calendar so delegation meetings can be scheduled

WHAT NOT TO BRING
Please do not bring any of your children, including your delegate. There will be events in the very near future for them to learn more and meet their fellow delegates but Parent Orientation is for Parents Only.

Reminder, it is mandatory that one parent or guardian attend this event.
