Discover the heart of CISV with our dynamic Junior Branch!
At CISV, it’s not just about the travel – our Junior Branch (JB) is the beating heart and soul of our community. Geared towards local CISVers aged 10-25, our Junior Branch offers year-round activities. From monthly meetings to group activities and community service projects, we’re more than just a travel club.
Embrace the opportunity to develop intercultural and leadership skills through educational and social activities. Juniors actively manage their own events, taking charge of administrative responsibilities within their chapters. Operating on national and international levels, Juniors organize programs covering diverse themes like social justice and the environment.
The Junior Branch Board
The CISV Jacksonville Junior Branch Board is a group of dedicated young leaders who guide and organize JB activities throughout the year. Board members take on key responsibilities including planning monthly service and social activities, organizing our three annual minicamps (typically held during President’s Day, Memorial Day, and a fall weekend), coordinating community service projects, and fostering connections within our local CISV community.
Serving on the JB Board provides invaluable leadership experience as members learn event planning, team collaboration, budget management, and community engagement skills. Board members work together to create meaningful experiences that embody CISV’s mission of building global friendship and understanding through shared activities and service.
Join us in building a community, honing your leadership skills, and championing peace through education. CISV Jacksonville’s Junior Branch invites you to participate in our vibrant community through monthly activities, annual minicamps, and ongoing service projects.
