As a Junior Counselor (JC) with CISV, you’ll play a vital role in shaping young campers’ local experiences while developing your own leadership skills. We’re seeking enthusiastic 16-17 year olds to serve as mentors and role models at our free 2-week FACES of Jacksonville mini-Village. JCs work alongside adult leaders to plan activities, support 11-year-old campers, and help create an engaging environment. Service hours are available for participants.

Submit two adult references: Youth Delegation Reference Form
Reference #1: A current or recent teacher
Reference #2: An adult who knows the youth on a personal level (neighbor, coach, etc)

Delegate applicants should plan to attend the following selection events, and parents will be required to attend the CISV 101 Orientation and be interviewed by the selection committee.

Youth selected to be a JC at FACES are required to attend a weekend day for national orientation and a full weekend for national training.
