Village and FACES Overnight 2025 & CISV 101

Event Purpose:

• Provide youth with a firsthand experience of CISV games and activities
• Enhance parents’ understanding of CISV’s educational principles and program specifics
• Enable our chapter to get to know youth and leader applicants

Additional Offerings:

• CISV Parent Mini-Minicamp: An introductory session from 7:30-9:30 pm providing adults with the chance to engage in activities similar to those conducted at camp.

Applications:

Please ensure your application is completed before the overnight event.

• Apply for a program using this form.

• Submit references.  Have 2 adults who know you well complete this reference form.

Parent and Youth Interviews:

All Village applicants and their parents will undergo interviews during one of the selection events.

• Parents of youth applying for Village, sign up to bring a food item here and schedule a Village parent interview here.

• Adults applying to lead a program, sign up for an interview here.

Overnight Chaperoning:

• Youth will be chaperoned at the overnight event, maintaining a 1 adult to 8 youth ratio.

• The events will be organized and led by teenage leaders from the Junior Branch and experienced adult delegation leaders. Planning selection events serves as a platform for our youth leaders to further develop their leadership skills.
