Ages 12-17 Overnight 2024 & CISV 101

Youth Program Selection Event

Join us for the CISV Jacksonville overnight event to select youth aged 12-17 for the Interchange, Step Up, Youth Meeting, and Fortnight programs.

Event Purpose:

• Provide youth with a firsthand experience of CISV games and activities
• Enhance parents’ understanding of CISV’s educational principles and program specifics
• Enable our chapter to get to know youth and leader applicants

Additional Offerings:

• CISV 101 Presentation: An introductory session from 7:15-8:30 pm by past CISV participants and their parents.

Interchange Candidate Selection:

• Interchange candidates are chosen based on their application, home visit, and event participation.

Interviews:

• All applicants and their parents (excluding interchange parents) will undergo interviews during the event.
• Complete your application before attending, and encourage your child to bring a friend.

Overnight Chaperoning:

• Youth will be chaperoned at the overnight event, maintaining a 1 adult to 8 youth ratio.

Application and Interview Sign-ups:

• Apply for a program using the appropriate form:
  • Village, Youth Meeting, or Step Up, apply with this form.
  • Interchange, apply with this form.
• Parents of youth applying for Step Up or Youth Meeting, sign up for an interview here.
• Parents of youth applying for any program, sign up to bring a food item here.
• Adults applying to lead a program, sign up for an interview here.
