December Mosaic Project & Jr Branch Event 2018

Mosaic projects are planned and delivered by our Chapters, using CISV’s educational approach, and each one responds to local needs and interests in a meaningful way. Most projects are designed and run in cooperation with partner organizations to further the benefit to the local community.
Adults and youth from our chapter will be working with the Humane Society on a 2-part event:
1. A donation drive for pets
2. A visit to the Humane Society where we’ll assemble warmers for kittens and “busy boxes” for animals, tour the family and walk the dogs. Only adults can walk the dogs so we invite parents to join us for this service event.
Youth will receive service hours.
Donations sought are
- Used but clean tube socks
- Rice
- Used TP rolls
- Peanut butter
- Dog food (dry food and wet food)
- Cat food (dry food and wet food)
- Kitten food (dry and wet food)
- Tough rubber toys for bigger dogs
- Paper towels
- Snacks for humans
- Puperoni treats
- Catnip & cat treats
- Plastic cat toys
- Towels (used is fine)
