Community Corner: Really Free Market

Really Free Market is a cool, local mutual aid initiative that aligns with CISV values by:

• Encourages sustainability and responsible consumption by bringing still useful items that you no longer use and need a new home
• Promotes peace and equity through sharing without expectation – no money, no trade, no judgement – take what you need
• Strengthens community by inviting people of all backgrounds to connect, share, and support each other
• Embodies CISV’s mission of peace through action

How can you participate?

1. CISV Jacksonville will be there with a picnic blanket to put our items on.
2. Bring 2 or more useful items: books, toys, clothing, food.
3. Take home any items you brought that weren’t taken by someone else (we leave no trace here!).
4. “Take all you want, give all you want. You don’t need to trade, barter, ask permission, feel weird, or anything. Just come as you are, and have fun!”
