Mini Camp Overview
Discover the excitement of Mini Camp, a dynamic weekend filled with engaging CISV activities, educational content, and vibrant camaraderie. Our dedicated CISV Jacksonville Junior Branch Board is orchestrating an exceptional mini camp experience.
Key Details:
- Theme: Olympics
- Start with Connection: As participants come from various schools, the camp begins with icebreakers and “getting to know you” activities on Friday. Saturday features 4-5 theme-related activities, with additional sessions on Sunday. Each activity is followed by a debrief to discuss the impact on attitudes, skills, and knowledge.
How to Register:
Registration Fees:
- Register by Feb 1: $150
- Late registration (after Feb 1): $175
- Limited partial financial aid is available based on need. Please complete the financial aid application.

- Mini Camp is open to participants aged 10 to 21 and adult chaperones.

- Campsite Details
Transportation:
- No formal carpools organized. Informal carpools encouraged. Indicate the person picking up your camper on the registration form.
What to Bring:
- Snacks to share
- Comfortable clothing
- Weather-appropriate attire
- Sleeping bag or sheets and blanket
- Pillow, towels, shower shoes
- Closed-toe shoes/sneakers
- Toiletries, sunscreen, bug spray
- Reusable water bottle, flashlight, raincoat
- A positive attitude!
Additional Information:
- Arrival: 7-9 pm on Friday; having already eaten dinner
- Departure: Around 2:00 pm on Sunday
- Meals provided from Saturday breakfast to Sunday lunch, included in the camp fee
- Camp T-shirts included in registration fee
Cell Phone Policy:
- Recommended to leave phones at home
- Only adult chaperones and Junior Branch board members are permitted to have phones during mini camp
- Phones of participants will be secured during the event
