President’s Message

A Message from CISV Jacksonville President Kerry McClure

Dear Friends,

Our Faces of Jacksonville Camp starts this Monday. We are thrilled to collaborate with Kims Open Door to offer this mini Village experience to Jacksonville kids.

We are also thrilled to participate in a virtual interchange with Sao Paolo, Brazil. The interchange begins on June 26.

On July 4, join us for 360 degrees of fireworks, pool party and cookout at the Taylors at 1851 Mallory St 32205. Register here.

From July 17-24, rising 9th and 10th graders can participate in Leadership and Service Week. Apply for Leadership & Service Week.

We will be planning for international camps in summer 2022 and re-invigorating the chapter. Please sign up for a volunteer role here.

Faces of Jacksonville Camp

Faces Leaders, staff and junior counselors at training

CISV Jacksonville is offering a 2 week local mini-Village program
for rising 5th and 6th graders from Jacksonville
that will include the typical games and activities
that we conduct at international Villages.
Faces creates a safe, fun setting in which
children will learn about each others’ lives and cultures
and how to communicate, cooperate and live together.

The camp is free.
Dates are Monday-Friday, June 14 to 25 from 8:30am to 5:30 pm.

LEADERSHIP & SERVICE WEEK July 17 -24 CISV volunteers at Humane Society

For current 8th & 9th graders, CISV is planning a one week local camp
that will combine the leadership development activities
like those conducted at a Step Up camp and local service projects.

Learn more about the week-long program. We will start with a mini-camp on Sat, July 17,then Monday to Friday July 19-23 with in-person camp activities and service projects and ending with a Saturday morning debrief on Sat, July 24.
