To select youth age 12-18 for the Interchange, Step Up and Youth Meeting programs, CISV Jacksonville hosts one overnight event.
Selection events are intended to give kids a chance to see what CISV games and activities are like, to give parents greater understanding of CISV’s educational principles and program details, and to give our chapter the opportunity to get to know the youth and leader applicants.
Interchange candidates are selected based on their application, home visit and this overnight event. Interchange applicants are generally selected on a first come, first served basis.
All applicants and their parents (other than interchange applicants) will be interviewed during the overnight event. Please complete your application before the event. We encourage your child to bring a friend to the overnight.
Youth will be chaperoned at the overnight. CISV maintains a 1 adult to 8 youth ratio at the overnight event.
