Youth Meeting Host Family Weekend
Welcome delegates from 8+ countries arriving around July 26th.
We invite you to open your home to two or four 12 and 13-year-olds from Asia, the Americas, or Europe for a memorable weekend experience.
These youth are journeying to Jacksonville for a 15-day camp this summer, where they’ll gain cultural awareness, and cooperative living skills, and forge global friendships.
Our camp, including the weekend of July 26th, may entail spending time with a Jacksonville family. Additionally, host families may be needed for Sunday, August 11th.

To qualify as a host family, please follow these steps:
- Complete the form found at this link.
- If this is your first time hosting for CISV, arrange a home visit with a chapter volunteer.
- Undertake the online CISV Child Protection Training. Log in using your MyCISV account (https://mycisv.cisv.org/) and access the online training at learn.cisv.org. Instructions can be found here.
- Familiarize yourself with the host family handbook, available here.
- Watch the host family orientation.
