- Be 18 years of age or older
- Enjoy working with 9-11 year olds and 16 and 17 year olds
- Enjoy participating in games, arts & crafts, singing and play-acting
- Participate in camp every day from 7:45 am to 6:15 pm from July 24 ā Aug 4
- Participate in CISV national leader training all day either in person on Saturday, May 20 in the Sarasota area or online on Saturday, June 3
- Participate in CISV local leader training from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm on Saturday, July 15
- Participate in pre-planning and group bonding activities from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm on Sat, July 22
- Take online child protection training (2-4 hours)
Ā Leaders will receive the following:
- $800 stipend if they attend and participate in every day of camp from Jul 24 to Aug 4
- $200 payment if they attend all the required training, pre-planning and bonding activities
- Free leadership training with CISV National and Local Leadership trainers.
- Valuable experience with cross cultural understanding and peace education principles.

The FACES camp is sponsored by theĀ Jacksonville Chapter of CISV.Ā CISV (formerly known as Childrenās International Summer Villages) was founded after World War II on the belief that that peace is possible through friendship – and that the real difference can be made by starting with children. CISV provides a range of unique, educational group activities, which develop cross-cultural understanding in children, youth and adults from around the world, beginning with theĀ Village programĀ for 10 and 11 year olds.Ā Currently 70 countries participate in this well-established organization, founded in 1951.Ā
