President’s Message

Dear CISV Families:

Wow! What a great time we had meeting you and all the leaders and kids applying for CISV programs this year. We are super excited about the year ahead!

The next phase of our work is preparing delegates for their programs and rallying our volunteers for the CISV Step Up Camp we’ll be hosting in Live Oak, Florida. Hosting is our “raison d’être” and receiving program invitations for the Jacksonville chapter are the reward for doing this well. Let’s show our guests their best camp experience ever! Although CISV has been called Jacksonville’s best kept secret, it is important to raise our CISV profile year-round. We invite delegates, parents, and leaders — past and present — to post a review to our google listing. Your personal story is very important to other families looking for enrichment opportunities.

Spring General Meeting

Save the date! This meeting is open to all chapter members and guests. It’s a highlight to our year as we recognize the 2022 program delegates and vote on a new slate of officers. More information here.

Junior Branch Spring Mini Camp

April 29 | Drop off 7:00 p.m.

May 1 | Pickup 4:30 p.m.

Mini Camp has been rescheduled for April 29th – May 1st. The Junior Branch has an incredible weekend planned. This year’s theme is the Wild Wild West and the content area is Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Click for more information and to register for camp.

Social Engagement Committee

Our chapter offers various opportunities to socialize while incorporating core CISV values. Mark your calendars for the following gatherings!

These past two months have been a whirlwind of CISV activities! Thank you for your continued support, attending selection events, and volunteering your time. Here are some highlights.
