2021 Seniors Reflect on their CISV Experience
“CISV has educated me in ways you couldn’t imagine. Not just culturally, but socially and academically. I have made new friends around the world that I will remember for the rest of my life, and I have been taught how to face challenges, take leadership, and stop to listen to others. Without CISV, I wouldn’t be nearly as capable as I am today.”
– Walker, alumni of Village Denmark 2014, interchange Norway 2015, Step Up New Zealand 2016-2017 and Youth Meeting Portugal 2017-2018.
Walker is graduating from Episcopal and will be attending the University of Virginia.

“CISV has taught me so many invaluable lessons. As a senior in high school taking my first steps into the real world, I can say that CISV has made me strive to impact the world in a positive way. I want to reconnect with my old CISV friends, travel the world, continue to learn about new cultures, and hopefully return to become a program leader. I’d like to thank my CISV family and my local and global mentors for making this possible for me!”
