Chapter Development Training 2020 – Postponed

Who Should Attend
Adults:
If your Chapter has a president-elect, we recommend that you send him/her and one other adult Chapter member. If you don’t have a president-elect this year, send two enthusiastic members of your board who will benefit from training and motivation. (i.e. Someone who recently sent a child to a program, or a recent leader who could become a trainer.)
Junior Branch:
A JBer from each Chapter must attend a CDW in order to maintain voting privileges at CIM. Ideally, your JB LJR-elect and JB advisor should attend this workshop. There will be specific content for JB advisors in the Junior Branch Workshop. Advisors will also help chaperone. If your JB advisor is unable to attend, please send your JB LJR-elect and a second enthusiastic JBer.

● Examples of materials from your Chapter, including newsletters, fundraising materials, PR materials, database prototypes, budgets, program fee worksheets, board rosters, descriptions of board positions, and anything else you think would be helpful to other Chapters (NOTE: one copy of each is sufficient per Chapter)
● A snack to share
• Junior Branch attendees must bring the Domestic Youth Legal Form, which can be found on CISV Central
● Lots of energy and a smile!
Dietary Needs
Attendees with special dietary needs must contact the site contact at least one week prior to their workshop. Requests made past this deadline should not expect to be fulfilled. NOTE: Those following a gluten-free diet should bring their own supplemental items.
