February 5, 2020 From our President We are in CISV selection mode. We had a fantastic overnight last Friday and our Village selection overnight begins at 7pm on Fri, Feb. 7. More applicants are needed so please tell every family that you know with an 11 year old. Share this short video. The Junior Branch Winter Minicamp is February 14-17 in St. Johns County. There are only a few spots available so Register for JB Mini Camp here for a fun weekend about Dinosaurs and “Sustainable Development”. Don’t forget the World of Nations on February 29 and March 1. CISV National Office is sending trainers to Jacksonville for a Chapter Development Workshop over the weekend of April 25-26. This workshop is for adults and youth age 14 or older. On Feb 14-17, the JB is hosting our winter mini-camp at the Camp St. John at Marywood Retreat Center. Camp starts at 7:00 p.m. on 2/14 and ends at 11:00 a.m. on 2/17. The cost of the camp is now $178. The fun theme of the camp is Dinosaurs and Sustainable Development. M Registration closes Friday.World of Nations CISV Jacksonville will once again have a booth at the City of Jacksonville’s World of Nations, which is February 29 – March 1 this year. See the world in a single weekend and promote our organization too.

CHAPTER DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPNational trainers are coming to Jacksonville to help us strengthen our chapter and better accomplish CISV’s mission.
Training will occur from 10am on Saturday, April 25 until noon on Sunday, April 26. Saturday training is at the Jacksonville Kids Hope Alliance in Springfield and on Sunday at an airport area hotel. ‘This training is for adults and youth age 14 and older.
