• Village (Age 11): four weeks international camp for delegations of two boys and two girls and one adult leader. The multicultural camp features a mix of educational, cultural and sports activities, which emphasizes cooperative living. Youth are eligible if they have birthdates between 6-1-2008 to 12-31-2009.

• Interchange: A bilateral, family centered exchange between two CISV chapters which encourages a deeper understanding of another culture by enabling young people to live as family members.
  • Lyon, France (Age 12-13) – 2 weeks hosting in Jacksonville and 2 weeks in the France.  Tentative dates of traveling: June 25 to July 31. Youth are eligible if they have birthdates between 6-1-2006 to 12-31-2008.​
  • Florence, Italy (Age 14-15)– 2 weeks hosting in Jacksonville and 2 weeks in the other country.  Tentative dates of traveling: July 1 to July 31. Youth are eligible if they have birthdates between 6-1-2004 and 12-31-2006.

• Youth Meeting: Individual themed camp that allows young people to explore intercultural issues and reinforces core CISV values, builds leadership and organizational skills.
  • Medellin, Columbia: July 4 to July 18 – 6 spots for 3 girls and 3 boys.  (Age 14-16 – Youth are eligible if they have birthdates between 6-1-2004 to 12-31-2006).
  • Helsinki, Finland: Dec 28, 2020 to Jan 4, 2021 – 1 spot.  (Age 16-18 – Youth are eligible if they have birthdates between 11-1-2002 to 12-31-2005)​
• Step Up: Three week international camp for delegations of two boys and two girls and one adult leader. This is a multicultural camp, which develops a particular theme through international activities and discussions. The emphasis is one youth leadership through adult facilitation.
  • Helsingborg, Sweden: July 3 to July 25 (Age 15 – Youth are eligible if they have birthdates between 6-1-2004 to 12-31-2005).
  • Lisbon, Portugal: July 3 to July 25 (Age 14 – Youth are eligible if they have birthdates between 6-1-2005 to 12-31-2006).
• Fortnight: An innovative and engaging two-week domestic summer program for 16-18 year olds from each CISV USA chapter.  Youth are eligible if they have birthdates between 6-1-2001 to 12-31-2004.
  • ​​Washington, DC: July 6 to July 20
• Junior Counselor: Serve as a Junior Counselor at an international Village.  Youth must be age 16 or 17 during dates of the Village.
  • Stockholm, Sweden: Jun 26 to Jul 23 (1 spot for Female)
  • Costa Rica: Dec 27, 2020 to Jan 23, 2021 (1 spot for Male)
• Seminar Camp (age 17-18): Thirty participants from around the world develop their own agenda and explore global issues based on their backgrounds and interests, through activities and in-depth discussions. Youth selected through CISV  national selection process.
  • ​See application for dates and locations including Austria, Brazil, Iceland, Indonesia, Mexico, etc.
• International People’s Project (age 19+): Locally run service projects. In partnership with local organizations, about 25 volunteers from around the world work together on a community project. $375 for 2-week service project abroad.

  • Brazil:  Jan 3-22, 2021

Southern Regional Minicamp 

 Southern Regional Minicamp was hosted at Camp Suwanee Fri, Nov 8 – Monday, Nov 11.

Kudos to the Local Jr. Reps – Delaney & Kristin – who planned an out-of-this-world space age camp with their fellow LJRs from Miami, Smoky Mtn, Atlanta & Chattanooga chapters. 

We are also grateful to all the kids who attended and their parents who made the long drive to Camp Suwanee.
