Host an Iraqi Teenager
GlobalJax is seeking host families for Iraqi youth, age 16 and 17 from July 10 to July 24. You are welcome to host one week or both weeks. You also choose the gender you prefer,
Students can share a room with each other but each needs their own bed. Every host family will receive a $100 grocery gift card per student hosted.
This is the second year of the Young Iraqi Leaders Program. Last year’s group was made up of Muslims, Sunnis, Shias, Christians, Kurds and other groups. Despite all we hear about how these groups fight back in Iraq, these youth came to love each other deeply and also their local host families. GlobalJax can’t think of anything else it works on all year with as significant an impact.
