In CISV Spirit, Kaleidoscope Youth Meeting
CISV Jacksonville welcomed delegates age 16 to 18 from Austria, Brazil, Canada, Columbia, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Norway, Spain and the USA to Kaleidoscope Youth Meeting. Youth Meeting Director Jessica said “Coming into this camp, I didn’t think CISV could be done in 8 days – but fortunately, I was so very mistaken. The shorter camp kept our participants on track and kept them excited to fill every day with exciting CISV activities, debriefs and traditions. This camp is one I will never forget!” YM staffer Devin remarked “We had 24 delegates from 10 countries and they completely surpassed our expectations of what could be achieved in one week! It was a great, fun, and productive group that shared activities discussing human trafficking and the variety of experiences of people in poverty in different countries. I loved seeing them be vulnerable with each other and build friendships they’ll have for life. It was a fantastic experience for me and i’m so grateful to all the volunteers who hosted, set up and broke down camp, and provided all our meals. And of course our amazing planners, Kerry and Nikki!” Junior Branch Activities
