Now Hiring: Camp Counselors for 2024 Faces of Jacksonville Day Camp CISV Jacksonville is inviting applications for Camp Counselor positions for the 2024 Faces of Jacksonville local day camp. If you have a passion for working with children, fostering creativity, and promoting cross-cultural understanding, we encourage you to apply. Requirements:
  • Age 18 or older
  • Enjoy working with 9-11 and 16-17-year-olds
  • Enthusiastic about engaging in games, arts & crafts, singing, and play-acting
  • Commit to attending camp every day from July 22 to Aug 2
  • Attend local leader training in Jacksonville on Saturday, April 13
  • Attend CISV national leader training in Jacksonville on June 1 (full day) and June 2 (half day)
  • Participate in pre-planning and group bonding activities
  • Complete a 2-4 hour online child protection training
Benefits for Leaders:
  • $1,200 stipend for attending and participating in every day of camp from Jul 22 to Aug 2
  • Mandatory leadership training with CISV National and Local Leadership trainers (training fees waived)
  • Gain valuable experience in cross-cultural understanding and peace education principles
