A local effort of CISV Jacksonville promoting community harmony

Local Camp: For 2 weeks in summer 2024, CISV Jax will offer FACES of Jacksonville camp, a mini-village experience for Jacksonville children. The camp will include games and activities to build friendships, teamwork and leadership skills and positive attitudes towards others using the same as the curriculum conducted at CISV’s “flagship” international Village program.

FACES of Jacksonville is a free 2 week camp for youth who are in 4th or 5th grade in the 2023-2024 school year. Let us know if you’d like to participate.

I agree that CISV may use and publish photographs, artwork, and written work as well as video and audiotape created as part of participation in the CISV Activity. CISV may use these items in the production of educational or promotional materials including web pages. These items may be used and published with a child’s first name (or nickname) and/or age. Unless my specific parental consent is obtained, children will not be identified by full name. *

Legal Release & Agreement to Pay for Damages

I understand the nature of the CISV Activity noted above and I consider my child to be capable of taking part in it. I agree not to make a claim or file a lawsuit against CISV (1) if my child becomes ill, contracts an infectious disease, or is injured while traveling to / from and/or participating in the above Activity, unless there has been gross negligence on the part of CISV and (2) for any lost or damaged property. My child and I understand that CISV participants are expected to conduct themselves in accordance with local laws and CISV rules, including the Code of Conduct and Covid-19 precautions. If my child engages in inappropriate behavior or breaks these rules, he / she may be sent home before the end of the Activity at CISV’s discretion. I will cover the costs of this trip and other costs associated with my child. I also agree to pay for any damage or injury caused by my child.
