DESCRIPTION:For its January activity\, CISV Junior Branch will be marching in the Martin Luther King Day parade.  The parade is at 10am.  Please join us to march in the parade.  The drop off is at the Prime Osborne Center at 1114 W. Bay Street by 8:30am.  We will meet at the front of the Prime Osborne facing the fountains.   Pick up time is around noon\, but please contact your child that day around noon for precise pick up timing. \nWear a CISV T-shirt and comfortable shoes and bring a mask and a poster celebrating Martin Luther King. Dress for the weather.  Current temperature that day is predicted to be 40-65 degrees.

DESCRIPTION:To select youth age 12-18 for the Interchange\, Step Up\, Youth Meeting and Fortnight programs\, CISV Jacksonville hosts one event. \nSelection events are intended to give kids a chance to see what CISV games and activities are like\, to give parents greater understanding of CISV’s educational principles and program details\, and to give our chapter the opportunity to get to know the youth and leader applicants. \nWe are also offering a CISV 101 from 2:15-3:30\, which is an introductory presentation by past CISV participants and their parents. \nInterchange candidates are selected based on their application\, home visit and this event.  Interchange applicants are generally selected on a first come\, first served basis. \nAll applicants and their parents (other than interchange parents) will be interviewed during this event.  Please complete your application before the event. DESCRIPTION:What is Mini Camp?\nMini Camp is an incredible weekend; jam-packed with fun CISV activities\, top notch educational content\, awesome people\, energizers galore\, and so much more! Our awesome CISV Jacksonville Junior Branch Board are planning an amazing mini camp for you. \nFun theme: the Wild Wild West\nSerious theme: Diversity & Inclusion\nSince many of the participants are from different schools\, the minicamp will start with “name games” and other “getting to know you activities so don’t worry about not knowing anyone when the camp begins. Saturday and Sunday will be full days with 4-5 activities surrounding this theme.
